Good day Atty.LLL,

Ask ko lang po kung ano ibig sabihin nung Indulging in usurious practices?

Ganito po kasi ang scenario, I'd been questioned regarding po sa pagkakasangla ko ng ATM payroll card ko. Meron po kasi mga lending sharks na para po pautangin ka, kailangan ng collateral at yung iba po ATM payroll card ang hinihingi. Rank and File employee lang po ako, minsan po hindi po talaga sumasapat ang sweldo ko sa gastusin namin, so para po maibigay yung ibang pangangailangan ng family ko, i pawned my ATM Payroll Card para po makasurvive and pambayad din sa kuryente, tubig, at upa sa bahay. Ngayon po, nalaman ng company na isinangla ko ang ATM Payroll card ko, tapos binigyan nila ko Memo and notice to explain, yun nga po ang sinabi ko, wala naman po akong ibang pagkukunan ng pera kundi yung inaasahan kong sweldo pero hindi pa din sasapat, so isinangla ko po yung ATM payroll card ko, tapos sa Memo po na ibinigay nila sakin ay Violation daw po sa company rules yun at nasa More Serious Violation section po yung “Indulging in usurious practices.” At ang sanction ay Dismissal dahil nasa Article 282 of the Labor Code daw po yung ginawa ko.

Maaari po ba talaga akong i-terminate dahil sa isinangla ko yung ATM payroll account ko?

Marami pong salamat sa magiging sagot po ninyo.
