Good day moderators. I was introduced to this lady about a year ago by my friend. She has a child out of wedlock and is seeking financial assistance in exchange for her "company". We became quite close in the months to come. Talking on the phone and texting from sun up till dawn. She also performs as a bikini model and if ever someone likes her then she makes a deal with them. We go out and meet ocassionally. Sometimes with pay and sometimes without.
She recently borrowed some money from me for the check up of her sick child. I have been trying to get in touch with her to ask for the money. I dont know if shes hiding from me or what. One text shes saying she wants to come to my house and see me. The next text would say that the the one using the phone now is her father and shes out of town. I even got into an argument with her father and he told me not to text her anymore. Then a text came using the same number saying that it is her and shes saying that its her fathers birthay which I replied and greeted him through her. I am now not sure who I am really texting. So I finally decided to NOT ask for the money anymore and requested her to stop what shes doing and try to get a legal job which she is qualified coz she has a college degree.
Then came a fury of totally harsh texts from her. Saying that her father read the text I last sent her (which made her father saw and realize what shes doing to earn money). Now Im getting death threats from her. I already unfriended and blocked her from my FB account. I also turned off my cellphone. Bad thing is I recently gave her our landline so we can talk over the phone and not spend much on texting. One more thing she came to know one of my cousins through her common friend. Im sure my cousin is now going out with her. What can i do to protect myself? Are death threats thru text enough to file a police blotter? So sorry for the long narrative. Please give me advice on what to do. Thanks in advance for your support.

change your landline and sim card. save and document the text messages. you can file a complaint at the police station for threats.

this has nothing to do with the bikini model?

after the bgy, you can file a case at the prosecutor's office.
