Arresto Menor
I am one of the employers in a corporation company and we want to declare one of our agent as AWOL. please advise what are the possible result in making this decision.

First, you have to identify whether or not the "agent" is a regular employee. If he or she is, then under the Labor Code, the employee enjoys security of tenure. He or she cannot be separated from work without just or authorized cause, and due process. You would have to take some necessary actions from your end before you could declare the concerned employee as an AWOL. Have you made diligent efforts to contact the agent and inquire as to his or her prolonged absence?
