Dear AttyLLL,

Kapag po ba nakasuhan ng economic abuse at hindi pa rin nag sustento kahit utos na ng korte ano pong parusa ang matatanggap kulong po ba or bayad? at kung kulong mga ilang taon po kaya.

Bailable po ba ang economic abuse?

yes, it's bailable. he will be cited in contempt and they can execute against his salary or other assets.

Dahil po OFW ako ang kinikita ko ay galing sa ibang bansa at hindi sa Pilipinas kya walang walang karapatan ang spouse ko sa salary package ko. Kasi hindi saklaw ng batas ng Pilipinas ang trabaho ko dito sa Middle east. Tama po ba ako?

nope your wife entitle what you earn even u are overseas she can deported u back in the phils. and u cant go out of the country. your kids entitled of 50% and your wife 25% all in all 75% in your your 100% earning. And now she can file u 9262 for economic abuse, emotional and psychological and plus if u have a child 7610 child abuse.

May karapatan pa rin ang asawa mong suportahan sya, at ang anak mo kung meron man. Hindi ibig sabihing nasa ibang bansa ka na di ka na saklaw ng batas ng Pilipinas. Kung ano at paano mo gawin ang trabaho mo, tama ka di na saklaw ng batas ng Pilipinas yan. Subalit ikaw bilang tao, ang iyong karapatan at obligasyon ay saklaw ng ating batas.

About dun sa 25%, kelangan rin ba magbigay if magkahiwalay na kami (I mean, we're not even married at all), but I still continue to support my children, even giving 60% of my income para sa financial support sa mga bata.

Please advise.

on a related note po, what if the wife is the ofw here, is she oblidged to provide 25% of her income po to her husband? Pano po pag ang husband e hindi na nagbigay ng financial support to his family for more than 5 years and it made the marital relationship sour; is that ground for annulment po? again, the husband thinks entitled sya sa kita ng wife nya, tama po ba ung perspective nya na un despite his shortcommings? Thanks!

meron kami ganyan kapitbahay na asawa ang nasa abroad tapos ang lalaki walang tarbaho tapos gamit lang ng gamit ng droga, panu sustentuhan? ano para pang gamit nya ng droga? dipendi naman yata yan sa sitwasyun...
