if shoplifting iyan, malabo iyan. tinuturuan kasi nila ng leksyon ang mga shoplifter para di na maulit at saka magserve as deterrent sa iba pang sumusunod na magshoplift.

So what will happen im confused too. I have a friend whos already being detained because of shoplifting, she didn't have any record shed working nmn kya lng i dunno wht that happened. My question cgro is what arr the chances n mg p settle nlng cla and how much, can it be installment kc my friend is not rich nmn hrap tlga cla sa buhay... I would really appreciate any feedback

Okay thank you. Would you have any idea what they normally charge for the settlement? Kasi the person who caught my friend was the onetelling us to go to moa and talk if we can settle it nlng.

Like I said, it varies. Sometimes they settle, other times they don't. There was a eoman caight stealing lotion and other beauty products amounting to over P1000. As part of the compromise agreement she had to pay around P25000 and stay away from the SM Department store for a number of years. So if based on that, around x25 of the value of the stolen items.

Other cases its different. There's no clear formula. Your friend just has to find out for herself.

The penalty for theft is dependent on the value of the stolen goods.

It is also heavier when it is qualified theft.
