i recommend you make an agreement about support and file it in the annulment court for approval

hello po! i just want to inquire regarding the rights of my daughter from her father. her father and i was never been married and my daughter is under my surname but recognized by her father and signed her birth certificate. but now he is having his own family with two kids and of course legal and he is working as a seaman. do i have the right to claim any support from him for my daughter? may trabaho ako ngaun abroad and sa ngayon gusto ko lang po sana isecure ang future ng anak ko lalo na pag dumating yung time na mawalan na ako ng trabaho. kaya gusto ko po malaman kung pwede ako ngayon mag pagawa ng kasunduan na dapat sya ang may sagot sa lahat ng expenses ng anak ko. is it possible?

Yet you can ask the father to provide support, I don’t think he will agree that all the expense of your daughter shall be on his shoulder. Remember that he also have his family to support. The always suggestion for this situation is to make a honest computation of your daughters’ needs, from there you can start the negotiation kung magkano ang magiging hatian nyo sa gastusin ng bata. Both of you should provide support.

but the thing is sa ngaun kapag nasho-short silang mag asawa eh nawawalan ang anak ko ng pang-gastos! I mean ung sinasabi nya na para sa bata eh wala kasi nga ginagastos ng asawa nya and his two kids are kampante naibbgay lahat ng kailangan! and im afraid time will come na wala na akong i-pang aabono! i mean i can shoulder now my daughters expenses but at least a fixed monthly allowance para in times na gipit ako may mahuhugot ako para sa anak ko!
