I badly need an advice. I know this is kinda late, it has been almost 8 months since I resigned to my old job. I submitted a letter for an immediate resignation last December for the reason that my father was in critical condition and that I have to go home to our province and take care of him but my company denied it in which on the later part my father died, I even send medical records to prove to them about his condition, instead they terminated me. I was just wondering if I can still file a case in regards to this? I did not received any return to work notice which they insisting that they send. PLEASE HELP.
