Good evening. I have 25 year old female friend who bore a son out of wedlock. The father gave paternal acknowledgement in the child's birth certificate. However, the parents of the husband separated my friend and the father of her child, and they (the parents) now stand as alotees of the guy's pay as a seaman. The parents and my friend previously agreed on giving the child a five thousand pesos monthly but ever since no amount was given as support whatsoever. What is the remedy for my friend under the law?
