Batch per batch, we were given a document about Severance Payment Package that shows some amount as well. Within that document it is also stated the effectivity date of the employees last day in the office inclusive of serving 30days.
Now, they made another announcement, saying that due to business change - they will place everyone on floating status for a month without pay. They said this is applicable to everyone wether or not they have signed a severance payment package that reflected their last day in the office.
Is this valid, that they have asked the employee to sign a document stating their last day of work will be on this day and then take it back?
Need advise please.
