Hi,

I hope you could give me some advice with my situation.

My marriage with my husband didn't work out well so i decided to leave him and ask for annulment. I was contacted by him and was informed that he already gave money to his lawyer amounting to 100php to start the case which all in all is 300php according to him.

Recently I asked him for updates and he gave me a cold feet and was told by him to just get in touch with his lawyer and the psychiatrist that he consulted for the annulment.

I would like to know if I have to do anything? Should I really need to get in touch w/ his lawyer if I want some updates? I am thingking that since he already started paying for the processing of the annulment, I should just let them do the work and let them chase me like what he did before he agreed to me to let our marriage be annuled.

When would be the right time that I need to consult a lawyer? Is it once I receive documents with regards to my annulment case?

I badly need your advice. Thanks.
