Arresto Menor
We have a neighbor who is extending her house towards our side. We have our own firewall that divides our property from her property which extends a little above our roof.

My question is, should our neighbor also build her own firewall besides our own firewall which extends higher than her roofs? Are they required by the law? What are the instances they are required by the law? And what is our remedy if in case they really incurred a violation?

Can you please enlighten me with this issue? Thank you and more power. I love you

Reclusion Perpetua
He can do that as long as that firewall is constructed in his own property. The only remedy you have is if there is damage caused by the firewall during construction or during its lifetime (wear and tear). Pag guho non malamang masisira din ang firewall ninyo.
