Ang company namin ay nasa retail supermarket, dahil sa pagpasok ng mga retail giant like SM/Puregold, nagdecide yung company na bawasan ng araw ang working days, from Mon-Sat to Mon-Fri, dahil na din sa pagbaba ng benta! Ganun pa man, base sa record ng companya, hindi naman ito nalulugi kundi bumaba lang yung Net Profit, in short profittable pa naman ito.

1. Legal po ba ito?

2. Dahil naging 5 days a week na ang work ng Office employees, binawasan din ng isang araw ang basic pay ng mga Monthly Paid employees, Managerial positions, etc.

Tama po ba ang ginawa ng management?

Kung may mali po sa proseso ano pong hakbang ang pwede naming gawin bilang empleyado?

allowed yan, prerogative yan ng kumpanya. mas mabuti na yan na 1 araw lang ang nabawas sa trabaho kesa naman sa nawalan ka tuloy ng work. yung isang araw na wla kang trabaho, ipaglabada mo na lang o mag taxi ka.

Tama ka kaibigan pasalamat tayo, pero hindi ba dapat obligasyon din ng employer ibigay kung anong nararapat sa empleyado nila? I do appreciate your opinion pero, hindi naman seguro paglaban ang paghahangad ng iyung karapatan bilang empleyado, alam naman naming empleyado na ang dahilan ay hindi sa pagkalugi kundi, nabawasan yung gustong neto na kita (net profit) nila...pero bakit empleyado ang kailangan mag-shoulder ng kakulangan sa kita /tubo or net profit na gusto ng Employer. If thats the only reason for the company to survive, don't worry kaibigan, kami na mismong mga empleyado ang magpapabawas sa sahod namin.

Why don't you give it a try? You can go to labor arbiter and inform him of all of these facts. He might have another opinion on this.
