Nagtatrabaho po ako sa JP Morgan Chase at nakasaad po sa kanilang code of conduct na bawal umutang magpautang at sumali sa ano mang cooperative na empleyado mismo ang nagpapatakbo.

Sinabi ng HR na it affects the reputation of the company na di daw kami kasama sa call center or bpo industry ang JP Morgan Philippines dahil under daw ang company namin sa Financial Institution.

Ang tanong ko lang if bawal umutang sa katrabaho bakit di nila sitahin yng iba na may utang sa mga bangko yng di nagbabayad ng credit cards di po ba mas nakakasira ng pangalan ng kumpanya.

5 na sa mga kasama ko ang naterminate dahil sa issue na pautang sa opisina, pede po ba kaming dumulog sa NLRC sa ganitong issue?

The prohibition is clear. bawal magpautang or umutang na empleyado ang nagpapatakbo.(Both of you are working under the same employer)

So sa inyong tanong, regarding sa mga ibang empleyado na may utang sa banko, well the prohibition is not applicable, eto ang logic nyan, cguro naman hinde mo ka trabaho or co-employee yung banko, for example, yung BDO or Chinabank or any banks, cguro naman hinde yang BDO or Chinabank nagtatrabaho sa JP Morgan Chase, dba?

Lastly, NLRC is not the proper agency na lalapitan nyo, i dismiss lang yan kasi yung problema nyo is not WORK RELATED. HInde ka naman cguro nagttrabaho sa JP Morgan Chase para mangutang or magpautang dba? also, yung prohibition is valid yun company policy kasi yan and we cannot question that policy because it is a valid exercise of management prerogative.

imo, if this is a reason used to terminate workers from employment, then you are allowed to question the termination at the nlrc.

moreover, my gut feel is that if the punishment is automatic termination for this offense, then i believe it is far too harsh
