usually pag nilagay sa floating status ang isang empleyado.. pwedeng mangyari kung biglang nawala yung project nila.. or natapos na yung ginagawa nila.. at wala silang ibang malipatan sa kumpanya.. pwede silang ilagay sa floating status for not more than 6 months.. without pay to..

pag nagkaron na ulit nang project.. don ni issue yung return to work order..

Umuwi po kasi ako sa Mindanao nung December 31, 2012 kasi nilibing po ang brother ko. We agreed na report po ako sa work on January 2, 2013, kaso hindi po ako naka balik dito sa Maynila sa sobrang mahal po ng ticket. Nagtext ako sa TL ko pero sabi nya "this is not the right time for you to be considered after the numerous considerations." Ang sinasabi nya siguro Nov.2-16,2012 naka leave ako dahil sa kasal ko, Dec. 21, 2012 pinauwi ako ng dying brother ko kasi na miss daw nya ako at gusto nya bisitahin ko sya, i got their approval on these days. Sabi nila report ako Dec.24, 2012, bumalik ako dito at iniwan pamilya ko then 3 days after nabalitaan ko na namatay na ang brother ko. Hindi ako nakauwi agad kasi mahal ang ticket. Dec. 31,2012 nakakuha ng ticket at dumating on the day of my brother;s burial. Sabi ng TL ko, Operations manager, assistant operations manager, at isang Indiana na head ng company, "we understand your situation" pero ayun, di lang ako naka balik nung January 2,3,4,7 may RETURN TO WORK ORDER na at wala na akong sweldong natanggap the other day. Tama po ba ginawa nila sa akin? ano po habol ko sa kanila?

May bereavement leave na equal to 5 days na pwede mong gamitin. Dapat yun ang ginamit mo instead na nagpromise ka na babalik ng Jan.2 and di mo dapat ginamit na excuse yung presyo ng flight. Namatay ang brother mo, entitled ka ng 5 days of bereavement leave, magpresent ka lang ng death cert sa hr.

Depende sa rules ng company, usually nagsserve sila ng return to work after 3 unauthorized absences. Unauthorized meaning either di ka nagpaalam or di ka pinayagan.

Usually naman pagbalik mo may mga hearing or usapan lang yan and you will get paid na rin. Patunayan mo lang na valid reason mo kaya di ka nakabalik.

yan eh kung may bereavement leave policy ang company.. as there is no bereavement leave under the labor code..

I reported to the office to the date I told my TL via text. I'm turning 1 year in this company, with no tardiness and absences at alam po nila ang dedication ko sa work. I just felt bad during those times that I felt helpless. Pero ok na po, kahit na hold sweldo ko, still surviving. Thanks po.
