1 Breach of contract on Thu Feb 07, 2013 11:36 pm

Arresto Menor
My past company is suing me for breaching of contract. The company is an internet solutions that caters Web Development, Web Promotions, Web Programming.

I have signed a clause that states:
An Employee is not allowed to work part time or conduct home based work related to the business of __________ Inc. such as: Web Development, Web Promotions, Web Programming or any other business related to ________ inc.

I worked as a part-time web programmer in oDesk but with a different client. They have different business. They sell websites. I fix the website so they can sell them in good price.

Is that breaching of my contract?
What will I do next?
I am willing to pay for your services just give me a private message.

Thank you for helping.

This is a matter of "Technical" grounds, well it did say "such as: Web Development, Web Promotions, Web Programming "

They can institute legal action against you, it is their prerogative; but then you will be compelled to defend yourself.

Get a Lawyer.
