1 Filing of annullment on Thu May 02, 2013 12:19 pm

Hi! kindly help me with regards to this.
I have a boyfriend and we're planning to get married in the next two years. The problem is, he was married due to "pikot" knowing that he will be having a baby in a certain girl but was proven not true.
He moved out, and was living separately with the girl for about two or three years already.
The annulment was filed two years ago. Unfortunately, until now it can't be processed because the girl doesn't want them to be separated.
We really don't know what to do, the girl is migrating to canada this year. He would be living my boyfriend with this pending case. Is there any way to make their marriage annulled?

Thanks and God bless!

if a petiton was already filed, then it should not be left at the will of the wife whether it will prosper. talk to the lawyer what stage it is in.

Hi. Sad I really need help. I have spent much already for my annulment case from psychiatrist to lawyer. I have received a copy of the petition of the annulment case already last July,2013. Attorney said we have to wait for the Solicitor General's reply from Manila before proceeding to the next step of the case. We are based in Visayas. It has been 2 months already of waiting. How long does it usually take for the Solicitor General to reply? and if takes too long for the Sol Gen to reply what should be the proper step to do? I would be very grateful for the help on this matter. Thank you so much.
