My friend converted from Roman Catholic to Muslim and was married to a Muslim man under civil law and two weeks after, under sharia law.

After 3 years of marriage and having a child, they decided to separate. They are divorced now under sharia law.

But are they still considered as married under the Philippine law?

Can they marry again?

Thanks.
