I just want to know the best proof to prove a common-law marriage aside from the fact that both are living together. What documents, if any, can be given to prove the same? I brought up this question because my brother and his girlfriend applied for a job in Canada and the embassy needed documents to substantiate their relationship. Actually, they already have a joint bank account but the embassy wants more documents submitted. Thank you.

that kasulatan will be very good evidence.

cezm, please stick to one thread to post your questions. for breaking up with you, your bf is not liable for anything. to make him liable for support, you have to be able to prove that he is the father of the child first.

lyn, yes, their marriage is valid. like cezm, if you can prove that the child is his, then you can ask for support.
