employer withheld backpay and charged damages to employee due to derogatory remarks

Arresto Menor
employer is charging 300,000 to employee for the revenue loss due to derogatory remarks made by employee over facebook message. accdg to them, candidates withdrew their application with the company because of the feedback he has given. employer cannot release his final pay until the amount has been settled and of course employee is not willing to pay that huge amount. is this even legal? what is the best course of action? thanks so much

50-50 kayo, depende sa ebidensya. Talo kayo pag napatunayan na kung ano man ang sinabi sa FB ay talagang naging isa sa mga dahilan para sa revenue loss.
