School embarrasses an Illegitimate Child: What to do?

I would like to ask if there is any violation if a public school reveals the illegitimacy of a child to the class which causes the child to be laughed at and made fun of, hence a hindrance in the educational growth of the child. (Child has been named after the mother on mother's preference).

what is the school violating and what would be the best thing to do on this situation?

what do you mean "reveals". if the child is using the name of the mother, then the child is illegitimate for sure. because under our law, the child(ren) of a married couple will use the name of their father.

I agree. the term I used was a lil off.

I meant that the child was made fun of in school by the explanation of the fact that he is using the mother's name. Shouldn't be any issue but he is being laughed at in school for having "no father".
