good day po I just googled it about for having a hard time getting a COE and about some problems in their employers. I'm gonna share my story and I would like to beg some opinions and reactions for readers and lawyers.
I was a Supervisor and Housekeeping trainer at one of the successful hostels today in Phil. andto aq sa company na to since started to provide standards and ideas to run a lodging operation. it means the owners and I helped each other to make it stable and operational ( owners-investment, and me-provides knowledge, standards, manpower, etc.) and run very smoothly for 1 year and 6months already. and dahl dyan ngkaron agd kme ng branch sa boracay..
and dto sa boracay branch naiayos q dn at nagawang stable ang operation and I worked for the hostel for almost 12-16hours a day everyday and because i am a supervisor, wla akong nkukuhang overtime pay. and dto din ngkaron aq ng mga issue sa owners which is "non-sense" reasonings like kpag npagkakamalan aqng owner ng mga tourists na guests namin or even locals, dun nagagalit na cla which is hnd q alm na npagkakamalan na pla aq na gnun maybe because nakkta aq ng mga guests q from morning till night (and sometimes midnight too).
this is my total duties everday ;
8am-10am : monitoring of the building and checking overall reports from yesterday
10am-2pm : housekeeping coz we are lacked in staffs (mtgal q na nrerequest un pero hnd nla inaaprove kaht ilan ult q na nrereport sa kanla) checking over all rooms.
2pm-3pm : front office/reception (papalitan q un female staff from morning sa front desk) checking booking system for incoming, staying guest, etc..
3pm-4pm : ayan break ko na..
5pm-onwards (sometimes 9-11pm ang out depends sa situation sa hostel) : front office/reception, checking and fixing booking system, control, monitoring, updating income and expenses of the operation, daily night events, and sending daily reports to owners.
yan lng nman po un duties q everyday. But I love my job thats why I never ever tell to anyone or to owners that I want to give up in my job. and never aq nagpakita ng kahinaan sa staffs q and owners. and yeah I know that it seems I am overworking myself to the hostel coz my reason is I care too much sa hostel and I want to make the 5 storey building hostel in boracay to become stable operation so I can go back to manila as soon as I can dahl un ang usapan namin ng mga owners. and i never say NO to them.
and dumating un tym Feb 13, 2014 yan un date na bngyan aq ng owners ng isang inaakala qng bakasyon pabalik to manila for a week and I am not expecting it na un na pla un huling arw q sa work.
that night (thinking also about my flight coz its already late) the 2 owners talked me about it and, they giving me also a memo to explain that the case was happened about 2 weeks already coz one of the guest paying 200 pesos for sleeping in the couch instead of 300 pesos and saying that I was the one who approved it but it was just a lie coz it never happen. but still, the guest paid 300. and that time too they accusing me for keeping a tip from the guests instead of to centralized it. (also a lie, take note they are accusing me without evidence and they just relied to chismax from the staffs dahl lagi dw aqng nanlilibre sa mga staffs) also, they accusing me
