Hello Atty. Meron po bang limit ang time frame kung kelan ka pwede mag-file ng complaint sa police station? Within a month of an incident po ba? Kung lampas na, invalid na yung complaint o may exception po ba? Paano pag hinde pina-blotter on the day of incident? Salamat po in advance.

the fact of reporting to the police is not determinative (although it is required by some prosecutors for crimes such as theft); it is the filing of the complaint with the prosecutor which is important.

time is a factor, but it depends on what crime was supposedly committed. the lightest of offenses expires after 2 months.
