I'm a single mother at 1 yr old na po baby ko...nakapangalan po last name ng baby ko sa tatay nya kaya naguguluhan HR namin kasi gusto ko po sakin sya ilagay as dependent sa tax ko tutal ako naman malaki gastos sa bata..kailangan ko pa po ba mg fillup nung "Sworn Declaration and Waiver of Right to Claim Exemptions of Qualified Dependent Children"..ang sabi po kasi ng HR ko automatic daw po sa tatay ibabawas ung tax..parang mali po na ito ung ififill up ko kasi husband and wife ung terms na gamit eh di naman kasi kami kasal..pwede po ba na icheck ko na lng ung single with qualified dependent? pwede ko din po ba ideclare na ako head ng family kasi nakahiwalay naman ako sa family ko at independent ako..

if kailangan po nung waiver..kailangan pa ba inotarized un? naguguluhan po ako sa process..

Since hindi naman kayo married and I am assuming na ikaw ang custodian ng anak mo, then ikaw yung entitled na maglagay ng dependent hindi yung father. Don't execute the waiver kasi ibig sabihin nun yung father yung -pwede magclaim ng additional exemption sa dependent.
