Hello everyone,

I just had an appointment earlier this morning at DFA for passport.
When the checker finished checking my ID's and birth certificate he asked me to show my BAPTISMAL or HIGH SCHOOL CARD.

My birth certificate is late registered that's why he asked me to show my baptismal or high school card. I was born 1989.

Please help

A practical question to ask by a non-lawyer is "What is the correct birthplace?
If the baptismal certificate is correct and was the basis for the late registration, there was an error in filing the late registration.  There are procedures on how to correct this.  Quite difficult, easier if mere clerical. But I understand it needs a court order to change a birthplace on the birth certificate.
If the late registered birth certificate info is correct and based on the Live Birth Certificate filed, it should be easy to correct the birth place in the baptismal record through your parish admin.
If you wish to change info on your school transcript, there are procedures per institution.

Inputs lang po.
