I just want to know, my former employer has not signed my clearance yet hence I couldn't get my final pay yet. I turned over everything to my boss. They told me they can release my final pay 3 months or so.
After 3 months, i followed up on the status of my final pay and 2316. they said my boss hasnt signed yet the clearance she has clarifications. they pointed out 2 things, first, there was an error in forecasting during my time, that we have discussed before i left, however these items expired. second, i had some expired items disposed, they told me that it should have been signed off first by whoever, in which the process or protocol is unclear to me. Specially that there's no written procedure about it. I've discussed these matters with the HR over the phone and she told me they'll send a letter to me to put things in black and white.
Now, discussing these matters 3 months after i left the company most of the issues are already forgotten. specially im currently working for another company now.
I am afraid now that they can affect my current employment. Can they file a lawsuit against me even if i already resigned? Also is there a way i can have my final pay? Honestly i feel harassed with all of these stuff.
