I'm currently working on a BPO company here in the Philippines and I want to seek a legal advise regarding with filing a formal resignation letter because my health is compromised with my job. Before i started my job with them i'm perfectly fine both physically and mentally.
But when i started my health went down, and its affecting my performance with them consistently i'm having sick leave every month and i spoke with my immediate supervisor that my health is compromised with my job and my priority is my health. with this matter and advised about the contract i signed which has a employment bond.
In the bond, it says that i must be with the company for 12 month (1 year). If i ever wish to terminate my contract before the 1 year contract end i have to pay the bond amounting to 100 thousand pesos (100,000). I'm with the company for four months now and i really want to file a resignation because i think i am not physically fit and psychologically fit for the job.
I just want to ask if ever i will file a resignation letter because of health reasons, will i be still liable to the bond or will the bond be void.
I need an legal advice immediately so that i can have measures and basis under the law when i file my resignation immediately.
