Our company intend to promote 2 of acting supervisors to full-time supervisors. However, our boss is thinking of not adjusting their basic salary but give allowance instead for the promotion.
Is it legal to stipulate in the Personnel action form that such allowance given is for the position of Supervisor only.. and that if comes a time the concern supervisor be transferred to another position, lets say Warehouseman, or be demoted back to being an ordinary production staff, said allowance will no longer be provided??
