I signed the contract yesterday and it says there that I am an exempt employee though I am not part of the managerial, I am not a supervisor. It is stated there my position and followed by "an exempt position". This position is for regular post and the salary is monthly basis.
I asked the HR why it is an exempt position, first answer is that it was the instruction given to her. I asked again and she answered that they have a bracketing in salary and I was already in the bracket of supervisor and other managerial positions.
Is this Legal? Can they really base t on my salary?
