Have you paid tax many years for that land?
Or have paid lease fee many years for that land?
And can prove it?
If so you have some rights.
If it's no ones (=government) land and you haven't pay anything, then you have some additional chance by you have used it long time,
but I don't BELIEVE such rules goes when you have used without paying private land.
Are there any contract?

WHO try to take your land?
1. Is it the (municipaly) government to do some development? If so you can probably NOT stop it. But it's common they give COMPENSATION.
(E g SQUATTERS in CDO got e g 220 000p for the rather big house if they take it down, they can KEEP the material, plus they got land some away from the city. But it's big difference in different municipalies. Some just force away squatters.)
But you have "users right" I suppouse, and have paid tax many years, so i suppouse they will compensate you.
2. If it's a private person, a company. Fight. I mean legaly
You can try to get your land TITLED based on you have paid tax so many years.
When same family have had it over 30 years it's suppoused to be rather easy.
(If having it over 10 years, then it's still possible.)
It cost some in fee, but not very much.
If you get the title, then you can prove it's yours. Tax ISN'T a solid proof, only a HINT it's yours, because some scammers pay tax at some OTHER'S land to SCAM people it's theirs to sell. They can't such type of scam if the land is titled.
I don't find my notes. Check with Register of Deads office. (And/or the Land Registration Authority (LRA)

You are trying to stop the contractor, so it isn't odd it's the contractor who file a complaint. The main question is - Who will winn?raphaelgaret wrote:yes, it's a private company who bought that land, actually that was a river until now and still planted with kangkong, the company wants to construct a building on that river, and they want to continue working and covering a ground. And the contractor filed a complain against us, because we want to stop them, Is it possible that a contractor is the one who make a complain against us, rather than the private company who said the owner of that river?
I can't judge the risk/chance who winn by the parts I understand of what you have written. It will depend much of who have the right to the land and what can be proven.
