Arresto Menor
The father paid some of the legal cost incurred by the eldest son to help him go through the process of litigation in late 1970.
The father passed away in 1979. There was no written contract about the loan between the father and the son.
No demand was made by the father during his lifetime.
The other member of the siblings are now claiming payment of the debt by substituting part of the real estate inheritance against the eldest brother.

Is the claim of the other siblings valid?
Does the death of the father (lender) extinguished the debt?

"Does the death of the father (lender) extinguished the debt?"
No. (Why would it???)

"The other member of the siblings are now claiming payment of the debt by substituting part of the real estate inheritance against the eldest brother."
That seem fair.
