Arresto Menor
I just want to help lang po my sister (single, 42 y/o) who is now involved with a 65 year old married man. The guy po is still currently married for almost 40 years. he has grown-up children and have their own family as well. His wife is living in the province and according po dun sa guy, he is not living with his wife anymore for quite some time. He is promising my sister na he willl get an annulment para magsama na po sila.
I don't want her to live in "false hopes" at masaktan lang sya sa huli.
Thank so much po.

Mamy men lies about he plan to get annulment/divorce.
Perhaps he realy want that. but annulment take long time and cost much money, so perhaps it never will happen.
Before the annulment is DONE, what your sister do is seen as a serious crime in the Philippines. I believe it's even possible it can be jail time...

No. Age is not a factor. Ask him what will be his ground for the annulment that he is planning to do

Thanks for the information po.
Well, according to my sister, he is filing an annulment because he is no longer living with his wife for quite some time and di na raw po sila nagkakasundo sa dami ng mga irreconcilable disputes and differences nilang mag-asawa.
Also, is their length of marriage ( for almost 40 years ) be a factor po in not getting an annulment?

Many thanks po ulit.

I think not but them not living together because of disputes and differences is not a ground for annulment
