Hi,

We have 15 days Service Incentive Leave in a year and I work for a BPO company. We follow US Holidays thus we don't work on these days. However our Service Incentive Leave credits are use for these days and we don't have an option or to choose otherwise.

It is not written on my contract that SIL credits will be use in days we don't have work due to US Holidays.

Please advise.

"Forced Leave" is part of Flexible Work Arrangements in DOLE Department Advisory 2 (s 2009) and is allowed under such circumstances.

It's good that your company allows you to use your leaves on those days - other companies would probably have the employees go on leave without pay on those days.
