My mother died 7 years ago and my father is still alive but he already gave me the land title of our house. I know that i should not inherit this since the real estate tax is too high. I'm asking for an advice on what to do and which is better, Deed of Sale or Deed of Donation? Should i also need to pass my mother's death certificate?
Can you also please explain further the difference of the two and the percentage/taxes I need to pay in order for the land title to be transferred under my name? I'm also married, should my husband's name be reflected as well in the land title?
