why are you renouncing? if it is because you will take an oath to become a citizen of another country, you will still remain to be a filipino

Hi Sir,

The country where I am in is implementing a 1 citizenship policy. They will give you citizenship but you need to renounce your current citizenship.

So this case po ba what will happen sa mga property sa pinas?

you know we're almost same situation right now,but i've already renounced my citizenship 3 years back, but before that ,i've bought properties while i was still a filipino citizen. I've made some research and it turns out that as a former filipino, you still have your rights to own properties but while you are not a filipino anymore, that limits to a certain size ,you better check bp185 provision that covers people like my case for residence ownership and RA8179(originally RA7042) for investing.
