Hello good afternoon. Ive been divorce with my husband 4 yrs ago. We got divorce here in Canada. My ex husband applied for annulment in the Phils. Heres my questions, do i need to sign the annulment pAper or since were divorce i dont need to sign the annulment papers? I heared from my kids theyre getting married in the Phils. And if i need to sign the annulment, and they just copy my signature do i have the rights to protest it? Thank you. Have a great day.

NO need. Decrees abroad, if recognized there is also recognized here. As such, logic dictates that any document filed by any of the former spouses after the annulment do not require the approval or signature of other other spouse.

It's not clear what document you are referring to, but I'd recommend a petition for recognition of foreign judgment rather than annulment.

My ex- husband applied for annulment in Philippines. Do i need to recieve a Service of Summons from him? Or shall we call it a letter to respondent? And for that Annulment paper does it need my signature? My ex husband didnt show me any Annulment papers copy, in my knowledge i should get one. Do im right or wrong?

We are married in Philippines. he is Canadian and he is in Canada right now. If he will decide to file divorce in Canada, will it approve? And would it be recognized here in Philippines? Can I get married again with that divorce degree or still need to annul our marriage in Philippines?
Thank You....

AGain, if CAnada annulment decree is granted, the same can be recognized in the Philippines. You can get married outside the Philippines. If you plan to marry in the Phils, you need to file a petition for recognition of foreign decree.
