Terminated as probationary employee but oblige to pay

Arresto Menor
Good day!
I would like to seek legal advice. At ganito po ang reason na nakasulat sa termination letter na pinapirmahan sa akin: ‘The reason for such is the failure to meet your performance objectives and completion of the deliverables initially assigned to you’.
Dahil ba sa nakalagay sa kontrata ang ganito: ‘In case the employee is dismissed for just cause under the Labor Code, as amended, within the aforesaid 3 year period, the employee shall also liable for payment of the liquidated damages ’.
