Hi I am asking for an advice para sa wife ko.
She rendered more than 3 years sa company niya as receiving clerk under agency. Nagpass siya ng resignation letter niya at nakapag render ng 29 days as per requirement (dapat 30 days)...
ei ang nangyari, nung ika 30 days (last day) niya, nagkalagnat at nag ka LBM dahil sa amoebiasis (dx ng doctor)...at di nakapaginform sa superior niya...however, aware naman ang visor niya na half day lang siya sa ika 30 days niya dahil uuwi na siya ng palawan province ng hapon (1 pm)...tama ba na inawol kaagad siya ng dahil doon? Nagpacheck up din siya at may medical cert...

Mayron pa po siyang last sahod at mga makukuhang benefits sa company niya.

Hingi po sana kami ng guidance regarding sa matter na to..thanks in advance.

imho, yes awol sya since hindi naman ganun ka grabe yung sakit nya para mapigilan sya magsabi sa office na di sya makakapasok since may sakit sya. if magfile sya ng SL at inaccept ni company, then yun lang yun time na di consider na awol yung araw na yun.

Last day niya na rin naman yun.
May makukuha pa ba siya kapag nag clearance siya?

di naman kailangan may SL benefit para mag file ng sick leave. it will just fall under leave without pay due to sickness.

Kahit na last day, it can still be considered AWOL by an employer.

Yes may makukuha siya kapag nag clearance siya
