What do you mean force resign? did the management really told her to resign?

If she resigned, there will be no retirement benefits. What she should do is "RETIRE" not "RESIGN". look into the hospital policy if its possible to apply retirement as early as 5 months before 60 or, just wait it out.

IMHO, kung inissuehan sya ng fit to work, she cannot use her previous treatment to request fo preferential treatment kasi if that is what she needs, then hindi talaga sya fit to work kung hindi nya kayang gampanan ang kanyang trabaho like other employees.

yung pag convince sa kanya na mag resign is ok lang, walang  masama dun.  Ang hindi tama ay kung minamaltrato na sya at ni discriminate against. For example sya ay nurse ngunit sa kanya pinapipintura yung hallway. Pero yung pag reassign ay hindi nyo right, pwede kang mag request pero hindi kelangan pag bigyan.  

pinaka important is wag syang mag resign.  Six months nalang tiisin na nya

yang ni site mo ay kung tinatanggal ang isang empleyado dahil sya ay may disablility at hindi naman nakaka affect yung disability na yun sa trabaho nya. For example putol ang kaliwang paa ng isang call center agent. Hindi naman ito makaka apekto sa trabaho nya so hindi nyo sya pwedeng tangalin.

Yung almost senior citizen walang consideration talaga yun kahit sa anong industry.
