Hi, I work part time at 2 companies.  Company A during sunday to tuesday.  Company B thursday to saturday.  During march 29 and 30, am i entitled to holiday pay?  From which employer?

Is March 28 your rest day? If yes, is it from Company A or B?

If you will be working on March 29 and 30 (on company B?) then you will be entitled to double pay on those days.

Company B will shoulder the premium pay if you work on the said holidays.

they cannot institute policy that is contrary to law.

Guidelines ng dole yun na pag pumasok ka day before regular holiday then you are entitled to holiday pay.

An employer may not get it waived even if the employee agrees.

karen, we can't advise you that it's ok to go absent without leave from your employer; you might be brought up on admin charges. but if you worked before and during the holiday, then you will be entitled to the holiday pay

Can I have the entitlement of holiday pay (mar 29 & 30) if:
A.) Half day absent ako sa Mar 28?
B.) Na Late ng 5 minutes ako sa Mar 28?
C.) Na Late ng 15 minutes ako sa Mar 28?
D.) Na Late ng 30 minutes ako sa Mar 28?
E.) Na Late ng 1 hour ako sa Mar 28?

clarify ko lang sir. meyron kasi akong nabasa, dole memoradium noon.


employee can only have the holiday pay entitlement if he/she render at least 8hrs of work b4 and after the holiday.
