hi attys

For termination of employment based on health reasons, employers are allowed to terminate employees found suffering from any disease and whose continued employment is prohibited by law or is prejudicial to his health as well as to the health of his co-workers (Art. 284, Labor Code)

depends on the wording of the contract. Please keep in mind yang article na yan says Employers are allowed to terminate, hindi ka pwedeng "magpaterminate" dapat yung employer ang nagtanggal sayo.

Pero as patok mentioned, without knowing the specifics 2.8M seems too big an amount, i would think hindi yan enforceable

what sort of training did you receive? what is the nature of your work? if your doctor can certify that you are not fit to work, then I believe that can be a valid basis for you to resign without having to pay this bond, assuming it is warranted
