the one registered first is the valid one. the other can be ignored.

i just want to ask kung paano po mag pa cancel ng birth certificate. right now i have 2 birth certificates in NSO. The first one is baby girl (mother's maiden name) registered in manila dahil hindi ko po yun magamit nung bata pa ako pina late register po ako ng mommy ko sa caloocan city, with the surname of my dad.I use that name in school, office and all my documents including my passport.before nakakuha pa po ng birth certificate yung mommy ko under my name.pero last year nung kumuha ako for passport requirement ang lumabas na is yung baby girl na pangalan.pano po kaya ang gagawin ko?

the first one is the valid one. the remedy is either change of name or correction.
