Arresto Menor

Hello everyone, I am OFW.
I just want to share you my problem about my Car.
Recently I bought a used car from known person. Note that this car is not his own, since the original owner had huge owe from
him, then the car was used as collateral with an open Deed of Sale.
Like a normal transaction, he has given the Original OR/CR, and
Original Open Deed of Sale signed by wife of Original Owner
but with an Authorization letter from her husband.
Apart from that we made a simple Deed of Sale (handwritten only with sign of two witnesses), but not yet notorized.

Early this year, the Original owner of the car returend
from abroad. With two policeman they came to my home and
trying to recover his car. He has treatened that if wi did not return the car then there will be a big problem. he mentined that he will file a carnaping case against me in Police and NBI and there
will be a problem for me in Immigration. At present
the car is currently being alarmed in LTO and no way to use by my family.
We were trying to negotiate to the person who sold the car but he is rejecting all calls. The thing is I want to return the car on his position and he should return my Money.

Please advise what is the best thing should I do.
Also I am afraid that maybe there is a complain against me in NBI or Police

Kind Regards,

my thoughts,

you need to be certained whether or not the car you bought was placed on alarm. try checking the validity of the said alarm of the car before the office of the LTO. considering your statement that the wife was authorized by the hubby through an authorization and the possession of the original documents, you may also verify with LTO as to the authenticity of the documents...

Thanks for your quick response. It is confirmed that the Alarm in LTO is ON.
Also all documents on our position are Original.

Is there any posibilty to left the alarm?

I am willing to return the car but I want my money back.
