pwede po bang mag-apply ng marriage license sa dalawang cities? what i mean is nag-aply npo ako sa valenzuela kaso maeexpire n po ito bago p kmi ikasal kaya naisip nmin n kumuha sa caloocan dahil dun nman nkatira yung mapapangasawa ko... para lng masunod yung date ng kasal nmin... pwede po kaya yun? kc po hindi npo pumayag yung pari sa church na binigyan nmin ng mga requirements... sbi nung pari its either magpakasal kmi bgo maexpire yung license or ipostpone yung kasal nmin... gusto po nmin n ikasal sa september 10... hindi po kc nmin alam n may expiration date pla ang marriage license.. sna cnabihan kmi ng secretary bago nmin acikasuhin yung license kso ang ngyari po eh hindi rin alam ng seceretary ng church n may expiration date pala ang marriage license.. ska nlng nkita at nabasa dun sa pinasa nmin na license.. cla din ang ngbigay ng idea n kumuha ng license sa caloocan.. napag-isip po ako kung pwede ba yun?

if the first license you obtained had been more than 120 days from publication (the posting at the LCR), then you can apply for a new one. You can file it at the Caloocan or even file it again at Valenzuela. Your license is valid anywhere in the Philippines within the 120 days period.

merisa, didn't you even read the marriage license? the expiration date is always very prominent.

indeed, you can ask for a new one in caloocan. it is valid from the date of issuance.
