Hello po,
I need legal advice, I hope matulungan ninyo ako.
The Situation is this:

I purchased a milk tea drink for take out sa isang establishment.I pay a 500 pesos bill, then nag bigay yung kahera ng sukli but she told me na kulang sya ng 20 pesos dahil wala pang barya. Sinulatan nya and resibo ng salitang "bal 20" which means kulang ng 20 pesos ang sukli. I trust her naman and did not count the change in front of her.so umalis ako s pila to wait to claim my order.But nung ilalagay ko na sana yung sukli sa wallet ko, pag bilang ko hindi lamang 20 pesos ang kulang nya, kundi kulang pa sya ng another 50, so dapat 70 pesos ang kulang na sukli.
I go back to her, but since busy po sya dahil maraming customers that time, i did not interrupt her for entertaining the other buyers. So sa halip, hawak ko ang resibo at yung pera na sinukli nya sa akin pina check ko po yun sa isa nyang kasama sa work na babae. At kinorek at sinulatan po ng babae yung resibo ng "bal 70."
Nung mag claim na po ako ng drinks at ng kulang pa nila sa sukli ko, nag insist yung babae na cashier na 20 na lng ang kulang nya.Since na pa check ko na po sa kasama nya yung resibo at ung kulang na sukli na binigay nya sa akin, I insist po na kulang sya ng 70 pesos.
then sabi nung girl, mag hintay daw ako dahil ipa check nya daw yung camera or CCTV. so i waited. But after few minutes lumabas sya t sabi nya wag daw ako aalis lumabas sya at pag balik nya may kasama na syang security officer ng mall. At ang sabi nya, nakita ako sa video ng camera nila na nandun ako sa iba pang 2 branches nila, niloloko at iniisahan ko daw ang mga empleyado nila.
Nag react po tlga ako sa sinabi nya dahil di nman totoo yun.
we go to security office ng mall.Yung may ari ng establishement me dalang video, to prove daw na nilagay ko na ang sukli sa wallet ko, but it was not close up video,its really unfair.

My questions po.
Ako ang customer, bakit po ako ang pina security nila? ano po ang legal action na pwede kong gawin to defend my rights bilang customer?

At yung sinabi din po ng cashier, na nkaita daw ako sa videos ng iba pang 2 branches nila na gumagawa daw po ako ng the same modus upang lokohin at isahan ang mga empleyado nila ay isang KASINUNGALINGAN po at paninirang puri. Ano po ang maari kung gawin? Pwede ko po ba silang kasuhan? At anong kaso nman po ang maari kung i habla sa kanila?

And to make things worst, gusto pa po nung may ari ng establishment na gumawa ako ng written apology. My friend told me not to do so dahil ako nga and customer dapat ako ang mas may karapatan mag reklamo. Anu po effective legal actions I can do against this unfair establishment?

moderator
you can file a civil case for damages for their abuse of right. if less than 100k, you can initiate a small claims case, rules on sc.judiciary.gov.ph
