I just want to clarify lang po. Possible po ba na matuloy ang isang hearing at magcompromise kung walang abogado ang isang party? Wala po kasi kaming pangbayad ng atty. nung time na nag set sila ng preliminary hearing and dahil po dito, ang lawyer ng petitioner na rin po ang nag a-advise sa amin ng dapat gawin. Parang we were forced to agree on matters that were of course, for obvious reasons ay pabor sa petitioner. We were not even presented sa fiscal on that hearing day. sa labas lang po kami ng trial court naghintay at ilang minuto lang po ay may pinapirmahan na sa amin about the compromise agreement. But since wala kaming magawa because we were informed late about the hearing at wala po kaming mai-pull na funds ng time na yun ay pumayag po kami sa compromise agreement ng estafa at bouncing check case na isinampa sa amin. Na amin naman pong natupad kahit malaking halaga at napakaliit ng oras na ibinigay. But on the second installment ay hindi po kami nakasunod sa schedule but we were still communicating with the atty. nitong huli po ay sinabihan kami na meron na daw po kaming warrant kahit wala po kaming natanggap na summon mula noon. Ano po ba ang pwede namin gawin ukol dito? dahil nais po sana naming kumuha na ng abogado para mabigyan naman po kami ng equal rights dahil hindi naman po kami nagtatago. at kami po ay lubhang nababahala sa warrant na sinasabi pong naka issue sa amin. maaari din po bang malaman kung saan po kami maaaring kumuha ng abogado? kasi sabi po ng iba dapat daw po ay connected sa place ng trial court ung abogado para po mairepresent kami. maraming salamat po.

Nais ko lang pong itanong kung tama po bang dito ko ito i-post o may iba pong lugar dito sa forum kung saan po ito dapat ilagay para po makakuha ng free legal advice. maraming salamat po.

first, send a representative to the court to determine if there is indeed a warrant issued against you. your concern should be to file bail so the warrant will be lifted.
any lawyer is allowed to appear in any court in the philippines. the court will provide you a lawyer from the PAO if you cannot afford one.
