Until what age of a child that a parent is still oblige to support him?

We are 3 children born out wedlock..aging 29, 28 and 18.my sister and i already got married.my mother is now having a live in partner and they also have a child.my father is now with his true family. I am now concern with the situation of our brother..now that his 18, is my father not obliged to support him?he is a retired police and is receiving his pension..can we ask for automatic deduction out from his pension?
pls help....

no, you cannot ask for automatic deduction, but support is required until a trade is learned, that can be interpreted as until graduation from college

AddiTional question sir...am i stl entitled to use my father's surname knowing that they're not married?and if i will use my mother's surname is it true that i cannot use her middle name as my middle name?meaning i wont be having a middle name if ill be using my mother's surname?

Is it true sir that if an illegitimate child uses her mother's surname she wont have middle name?

yes, but the proper way to look at that is the child is supposed to use the surname of the mother unless the father signs the affidavit of paternity.
