i got secretly married 1994 before my husband left for abroad. we don't live together as husband and wife since the ceremony was secret. after 1 year my husband met a girl and they got married. so we parted ways already and thats it. no communication at all. it's 15 years now and i wanted to have a family of my own. i filed annulment in US so it was granted. but they cannot honor it in phils since i want to live in phils w/ my foreign husband and remarry again in my hometown. what to do? please help...
How much and how long will be the process?

what was the basis for annulment in the case in the US?

are you still a filipino citizen?

I'm still filipino citizen. And the basis for annulment is Irrenconcilable differences.
They say that the divorce i filed was only valid if i remarry in US. But not in Phils. Coz our record is still in census.

you'll have to file annulment proceedings here if a ground exists. your divorce cannot be recognized because you were a filipino when you filed it.

Thank you very much.

Still have one more concern... if in case my marriage with my ex husband gets annulled, does it mean that his 2nd marriage will automatically gets legal? or they need to remarry again?

your 2nd marriage is valid under US law, but not under philippine law. you will have to file annulment proceedings here
