Hi,

I have a child on my ex-girlfriend but used his present boyfriend's Surname. His boyfriend acknowledges my child without my knowledge. Knowing what they have done, I wanted to give my name to my child. What will be my legal stance/right? Can I correct/change my child's name with my name?

What if the other guy is willing to tell the truth and withdraw his acknowledgement? When in fact, at the beginning, he already knew it is not his.
Do I still need to have a DNA testing?

Thank you!
