my parents were separated since i was 4y/o. my father was there to provide financial support until 2008 (supposed to be my 3rd year in college.) but after that he said he couldn't provide for my schooling. he then suggest me to stop for awhile.. but since then he never reached me.. no calls, no texts, no emails... no everything. i'm 23 and i'm working but i still wanted to know if i could still ask for his assistance financially. i also learned that he was with another woman whose using his surname. (acting as his wife) but my parents are still married.

you can, but he is not legally obligated to give support to you, but he is to your mom.
