I just want to seek some advice about the inherited land by my mom.

Does my father has some rights to sell the land inherited by my mom from her parents with out our signature?

Hope somebody from this forum can answer me on this.

Attorney, ano po ang pagkakaiba kung ang pamana ay naibigay noong naikasal na kaysa pamana na ibinigay bago ikasal?

paraphernal property yan ng mom mo kaya exlclusively sa mom mo yan.. if you mom has passed away. kalahati ang mapupunta sa papa mo at yung other half paghatian nyong magkapatid plus yung papa mo. the phrase “married to” in the land titles is merely descriptive of the status of registered owner and does not necessarily imply co-ownership. di ako attorney ha...opinion ko lang to

if they were married before 1986, then it remained to be sole property of the mother.

if they were married after 1986, and it was inherited before they married then it is conjugal. if inherited during, then it is exclusive property.
